Starting in November and running through March, interested candidates are invited to our district offices at the Support Hub to meet with hiring representatives and fast-track their applications.
“This is a new event for us, and we’re really excited to invite potential employees to our campus so they can learn more about what it’s like to be a part of Team MNPS,” said Brigitte Tubbs-Jones, director of talent acquisition.
We’ll be hiring for both certificated (teaching, administrative) roles and support roles, and our employee pay is the highest in the state for many positions. Starting pay for some of our most in-demand positions include:
- New Teachers (bachelor's degree only): $50,000+
- Bus Drivers, starting at $23.14/hour + applicable bonuses
- Nutrition Services staff, starting at $18.87/hour (part-time and full-time)
- Maintenance staff, $19.61-$20.94, depending on role and experience
- Classroom Associates, $19.55-$20.27/hour (60 college credit hours required)
- Substitutes, $120-$145/day, depending on the level of education of the candidate and subject to weekly bonus payments

Talent Tuesdays will be held at Metro Schools’ Support Hub offices on 2601 Bransford Avenue from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on the following Tuesdays:

- February 13
- February 20
