Warner Elementary Rezoning

Warner Arts Elementary Zoning Update

Approved Changes for 2025-26
Metro Nashville Public Schools is excited to announce that the Board has approved the expansion of Warner Arts Elementary's zone into the area currently zoned for KIPP Kirkpatrick Elementary.

This transition begins with the 2025-26 school year and will be phased over several years to ensure a smooth adjustment for families.

Key Details of the Change

  • Effective Date: 2025-26 School Year
  • Phased Transition: Starting with Kindergarten and 5th grade in 2025-26, the zone expansion will gradually include additional grades each year until all K-5 students in the zone are transitioned by 2029-30.
  • No current students at either school will be affected.
  • Families can still choose KIPP Kirkpatrick as an optional school within the district. This decision aligns with MNPS's commitment to providing consistent, high-quality educational pathways for all students in the community.
