Welcome to the new MNPS.org, your one-stop-shop for anything you need to know about Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Whether you are a current parent, a prospective parent, community member, or future employee – this site was built for you and to make it easier for you to find the information you need.

Start at MNPS.org to discover and explore teaching and learning in Metro Schools, the services we offer families and students, and the varied opportunities to connect and volunteer with Nashville’s public school system.

Our new website is more than district information; each of our 130 district-operated schools has a new school-specific website where you can learn about the programs, opportunities and activities that makes each school unique. The website is ADA-compliant, responsive on any device and will translate into multiple languages.

Signature Initiative

The district and schools website relaunch is one of 14 signature initiatives announced by Director of Schools Dr. Adrienne Battle to guide the district's work in ensuring that every student is known. The new websites help us to re-envision the MNPS central office as a support hub for schools, one of four core tenets established by Dr. Battle to help set the district’s course.

Departments such as Student and Family Support, Transportation, and Technology, for example, can now share information on pages that can be easily linked by schools on their websites to highlight important information specific to their school communities.

And, many schools already are taking advantage of opportunities to showcase key statistics about their graduates, embed newsletters, share information about each grade in their building, and present more photos of students, staff and activities.  More content will be added.

New Features

  •  Each school website, personalized with unique school logo and colors, has been designed to highlight important and timely information for families.
  •  Staff directory on the district site and each school site.
  • You can subscribe to calendars and other content updates for areas of interest specific to your student or school.
  • Mobile apps for the district and school sites are launching soon.

We hope you’ll visit often for important information from Metro Schools and your child's school.
