We are excited to work with the students and families. Each child is very special, and we value this opportunity to be a part of the children's lives. The school is committed to providing each child with effective learning experiences, which will provide the foundation for life long learning. Please visit our website and see why Hickman is the place to be. Students are our business! Hickman Elementary School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. It has also met the requirements of No Child Left Behind and is a school in Good Standing. The school receives Title I funds to enhance learning opportunities for students. The staff members are creative and highly qualified. The work of the school is supported by devoted PTA members. The school is organized into 25 general education classrooms for children in kindergarten through 4th grade, three classrooms for Communication & Behavior Intervention Programs, and one Pre-K Blended Program.
