What Makes Our School Unique?
Hermitage Elementary School is a place where we love students and create a love for learning! Teachers and staff are dedicated to high expectations for all students while providing a warm and personal atmosphere for education. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, we continue to strive to improve our instructional program. With the help of our highly qualified Reading Specialist, Language! class, Encore, Resource classes, self-contained Special Education, Art, Music, and Physical Education programs we will meet the individual needs of all our students. Our staff continues to seek “best practices” for teaching our students. All have been trained in the balanced literacy approach to teaching reading. We are organizing lessons according to State Standards, District Standards, and student assessments. Come visit us! Better yet, come be a part of the Hermitage Family and become one of our proud volunteers.
