This event is provided by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) Department of Exceptional Education through a grant from the State of Tennessee. This event will enable us to provide a collaborative day of learning for parents of children with disabilities . The day’s presentations will include a variety of workshop opportunities regarding effective practices for our students with disabilities. “Parents Training Day” will offer information that includes various ages (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, High and Post-Secondary) and provides small group presentations on/about various disabilities and the needs of students with disabilities. The training will be provided by MNPS SPED personnel, parents, and representatives of disability agencies. Lunch, free parking, and a notebook will be provided to each participant.
