2009 Career Exploration Fair Gives Freshmen a Look at Their Futures
In one day, hundreds of local business men and women put their daily jobs on hold to share their time and expertise with more than 3,000 MNPS 9th graders. The students met with orthopedic surgeons, some experienced a crane simulator, others talked with local actors and musicians, and some even learned to lay bricks. more

MNPS Lottery School Applications Available
MNPS will distribute the applications for magnet and optional schools the week of November 2, 2009. Parents interested in having their child or children enrolled in one of 29 academic and thematic magnetic, design, optional and enhanced option schools need to submit an application by Dec. 4, 5:30 p.m. more
