The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

TRUCK DRIVER/HEAVY – OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
12 Months – Pay Grade 5 – Base Hourly Rate - $11.13
(Hours 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS;

High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience as a heavy truck driver is highly desirable.

Knowledge of operation of heavy dump trucks, hand tools, tractors, heavy mowers and other equipment & materials used by the Grounds Department. Must be willing to assume a measure of responsibility and have the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with subordinates as well as other employees; knowledge of applicable safety regulations. Tennessee Class B driver’s license.
