QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Masters degree in School Counseling or related field and Counseling certification; experience in school counseling K-12; excellent organization and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coordinator of School Counseling is responsible for providing consultation and support for K-12 school counselors; assisting in the development and implementation of a district school counseling program compatible with the state standards; assisting in the planning and coordination of professional development for counselors including best practices, changes in policy and procedures and community programs/services; assisting in the identification of qualified applicants for school counseling positions; working with parents and the community to provide information about school policy and procedures and school counseling services.

SALARY: Coordinator Pay – 12 Months. Exact placement on the salary schedule depends upon educational qualifications and experience.
