Business and community involvement is critical to the success of Career and Thematic Academies. Through donations of time, energy, and/or resources, local companies can and will have a significant impact on the lives of our students.
During the 2008-2009 school year, our schools have seen tremendous support from the Nashville community. From guest speakers in the classroom to workplace field trips, students are just beginning to see the benefits that local businesses can bring to the classroom. In the years to come, the district hopes to build the level of involvement, creating true partnerships between schools and the business community, and provide students with an educational experience second to none.
