Summer Programs and Camps
 

MNPS along with other community organizations host several summer programs and camps to keep students mentally and physically active during the summer months. These activities foster students interest and growth in academics, athletics and the arts. Forensics Camp
Grades 7th - 12th
July 27-31, 2009

Art al Sol
Session I - Age 8 - 10 June 15 - 19
Session II Age 10 - 13 June 22 - 26

“Art al Sol” is a five day visual arts summer camp program. This program is for students who are interested in exploring the visual arts and being challenged with visual arts activities that are not readily available in the art classroom. Students need to be present for the entire five day session. Arts in Action
Ages 8 -12
May 26 - June 5

“Arts In Action” is a Metro Public Schools’ summer arts camp for students, ages 8-12 years old. Students enrolled in the summer program will be actively engaged in quality instruction and performance in the visual and performing arts – music, dance, drama and visual arts - LEARN MORE

5th  - 8th Grade Metro Nashville Summer Band Camp
June 8 - June 18

MNPS offers band camp to students who have completed at least one school year in a band program. The camp will help students advance their musical talents by providing varied experiences and challenging musical activities to facilitate learning  - LEARN MORE

4th  - 12th Grade Metro Nashville Orchestra Camp
June 8 - June 18

The  Metro Nashville Orchestra Camp strives to provide a wide variety of camp experiences to enhance the various interests of the attending musicians. Guest instrumentalists and string ensembles are invited to present concert sessions for the students.  - LEARN MORE


TSU Summer Success Institute
