Mission Statement:
The mission of the MNPS Administration PreK – 12 is to provide the guidance, assistance, and support for our schools, enabling all students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experiences to become productive, responsible citizens.
Vision Statement:
In our journey to become a system of great schools, the MNPS Administration PreK – 12 is committed to leadership guided by service, continuous improvement, accountability, and positive results.
Belief Statements:
As internal stakeholders of the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, the MNPS Administration PreK – 12 firmly commit to the following belief statements:
- We will think, act, and work in ways that will demonstrate our genuine commitment to leadership through service to others.
- We will seek constant improvement in our job performance through frequent, reflective examination of our practices and necessary subsequent actions.
- We will remain steadfast in our focus to improve our skills and practices through positive team-building and data-driven accountability.
- We will work fervently to energize and empower others in our schools and community to implement plans which will help visions become reality.
- We will continue to embrace effective communication as the primary, indispensable function of great leadership.
- We will demonstrate our genuine concern for children and their families by our encouragement, support, and treatment of others in our school system and community.
