Instructional Design Team

Professional learning does not have to occur at a specific location.  With the world becoming more mobile, learning can occur anywhere.  In addition, research shows that high-quality, professional learning includes follow-up and sustainability.

With the help of the Nashville Alliance, an Instructional Design Team was created to create various distance learning opportunities, including best practice videos (MNPS Tube--only available on MNPS network) and online workshops (soon to come).

Tom Ciggaran Instructional Design Studio

At the Martin Professional Development Center, the Tom Ciggaran Instructional Design Studio is now complete.  It includes state-of-the-art audio and video technology.  An Instructional Design team is working to create a video library of MNPS best practices and online workshops.
