The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces vacancies in the following position:
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST II - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 12 Months - Grade 11 – Base Hourly Rate $21.46

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
High School Diploma or GED supplemented by current certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, A+ or Network Plus highly desirable. Five (5) years experience in field end user support to include knowledge, experience, and training in PC network and peripherals trouble shooting and repair. Bachelors or Masters Degree in technology or education field will be considered as a substitute for experience.
Demonstrated ability to utilize logical analysis and trouble shooting techniques and ability to apply them in problems. Ability to coordinate and train other technicians and maintain knowledge of current technology problems for cross training and problem solving purposes; ability to assist schools with incorporating technology into curriculum. Ability to participate in and assist with managing the operating system patches strategy on an as needed basis. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
