The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

Human Resources Assistant
Human Resources Department
12 Months - Grade 6 - Base Hourly Rate $12.19

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Two years college preferred: Two (2) years personnel general list experience required. Training and or experience in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Experience with FMLA is a plus and preferred.

Interprets or explains personnel related procedures to employees and general inquiries; processes new hires and related documents; resolves or clarifies procedural process problems or discrepancies in information submitted by departments; provides information about status of pending actions to all levels of employees, supervisors and administrative staff; processes employee personnel changes using EBS system; participates in new hire sign–up orientation sessions; processes and reviews personnel actions, pay grade information and other related forms and documents.
