QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must interact effectively with colleagues; exhibit a strong working knowledge of best practices in math instruction; demonstrate the ability to make formal presentations to groups; exhibit effectiveness in the area of planning as aligned with MNPS standards and student achievement data; demonstrate evidence of leadership skills at a local, regional or national level; demonstrate proven ability to accommodate for the needs of diverse learners.

EDUCATION: Applicants must possess a valid Tennessee teaching license with a K-8 certification or 7-12 certification with endorsement/concentration in mathematics. Applicants must also be highly qualified in mathematics. A Master’s Degree in Education and some college mathematics at or above the College Algebra I level is desirable.

SALARY RANGE: Teacher Salary – 10 Months
