 Quotes

"I'm here every day and I thoroughly enjoy it.

" When I lost my wife after sixty-two years together, it's really been a help to me to come to the Center. I used to come there to entertain several years ago. When my wife died, I spent four and a half months alone at home before I started coming to the Center regularly. Being with the people there has meant a lot to me, and brought me out of it. We have a lot in common, because most of us have lost our spouses. People understand what you're going through. They have been there themselves.

"I'm just real thankful for the Senior Renaissance Center. They're just nice people over there, all of them. I appreciate them. They're taking good care of me."

"I certainly think it's a great place for people like myself. It's a good place to go, and keeps you from being by yourself. You get all worn down at home by yourself."
