At Metro Nashville Public Schools, we embrace community involvement, whether that's individuals wanting to get involved in a particular school, or organizations wanting to be involved at a higher level.

Alignment Nashville brings community organizations and resources into alignment to benefit Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.

Hands on Nashville is a volunteer hub connecting people to opportunities that allow them to transform their world, community and neighborhoods through volunteer service. Hands On Nashville Day is an annual day of service that supports Metro Schools with various maintenance projects.

Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee places trained volunteers in K- 12 classrooms to present a program focused on financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. JA of Middle Tennesse operates in 18 counties in the region, reaching over 42,000 students annually in over 2,000 classrooms.


The Nashville Alliance for Public Education
 identifies areas of need and impact -- and channels private community resources toward programs to accelerate progress in our schools.

The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for continuous improvement in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
